Free costs no money. At sign-up a box is shown, unticked, beside this sentence: "I agree to receive marketing from Glow Tally and its partners about business growth and advertising services, by email and phone. Unsubscribe any time." Ticking it is what pays for the plan.
What it allows: Glow Tally and the partner named on the partners page, linked from the words "its partners" beside the box, may contact you by email and by phone about business growth and advertising services. Phone includes calls made by an automated voice.
What it never allows: text messages. It is not a consent to anything about your clients or callers; their details are never used for marketing.
What is recorded: the sentence as shown, its version, the time, your IP address and browser. If you later move to a paid plan, the consent is withdrawn the moment the paid plan starts, and the record shows when. If a paid plan lapses and you choose to carry on free, the sentence is shown again and must be ticked again.
The consent page spells out every way to withdraw and what happens to the account afterwards.
